MIDIToTab is a complex tablature optimisation program using the latest artificial intelligence techniques to find the best fingering positions for a given piece.
Its input consists of MIDI files (.mid), a widespread file format commonly used for creating, transcribing and exchanging music. Since most music today is available in MIDI format, MIDIToTab can be used for virtually any piece of music available today.
